Redrock for Queensland Brokers: Five Markets, One Operating Base
Aggregating with Redrock as a Queensland broker — panel access, ComplySuite and Search Suite, direct support, own-brand freedom and the commercial models, from Brisbane to Cairns.
Queensland is not one broking market. A broker in Brisbane, a broker on the Gold Coast and a broker in Cairns are working different economies, different property cycles and different client bases — and none of them is close to the others. For an aggregator, that raises a fair question from a Queensland broker: does the support model actually reach this far?
Redrock's answer is that the things a broker relies on daily are platform-based, and that support is direct. Broker enquiries: 1300 667 694.
The markets a Queensland broker might work
Brisbane. Metropolitan depth across owner-occupier, investment and refinance lending, with commercial and asset finance volume sitting alongside it for brokers who diversify.
Gold Coast. Residential activity with a strong investment and relocation component, plus small business and construction-linked lending.
Sunshine Coast. Owner-occupier and lifestyle relocation demand, and a small business base that generates equipment and commercial enquiry.
Townsville. A regional centre where residential lending sits next to business, agricultural-adjacent and asset finance work.
Cairns. Tourism and small business exposure shapes the lending mix, and a broker who can write beyond a standard home loan has more to work with.
None of this is a coverage map — Redrock brokers work across Queensland and nationally, and there is no territory restriction on where an independent broker builds.
Questions Queensland brokers usually ask
Do I get the same lender access from Cairns as from Melbourne? Yes. Redrock provides broker partners access to a broad panel of residential, commercial, asset finance and specialist lenders — access to 65+ lenders — and the panel does not change by postcode. Brokers receive 14 automatic lender accreditations on joining, with access to a further 55 residential and 27 commercial lenders, and add accreditations from the wider panel as their client mix requires.
How does compliance work at distance? Through ComplySuite, Redrock's own all-in-one NCCP compliance monitoring and reporting platform, used directly by brokers. Your compliance registers are maintained in it, you interact with file auditors through it, and your quarterly self-reviews are completed in it. It is the same process wherever you sit.
What happens when I need an answer and it is not in a manual? Search Suite — Redrock's AI Smart Search tool — is reached through the Redrock Broker Portal via an embedded iframe. You ask in ordinary language and it searches Redrock's knowledge base. For anything it cannot settle, you deal directly with the people responsible for that part of the business.
What do I lodge in? Salestrekker, a third-party lodgement and CRM platform Redrock provides access to. The Broker Portal, ComplySuite and Search Suite are Redrock's own; Salestrekker is not.
When do I get paid, and how do I know it is right? Commission administration runs from Redrock's head office through its Commission Suite — not a broker tool, but the source of the accurate, timely monthly RCTIs and commission statements you receive.
Does Redrock take my brand? No. Brokers retain full ownership of their brand, their business and their client relationships. The Specialist model is the exception: it is a franchise, with a branded presence and franchise obligations attached.
The commercial models
The investment varies according to the broker's pathway, qualifications, experience and requirements, with detailed pricing provided following consultation. The current models:
| Model | Split | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| New Entrant | 80/80 | Independent |
| Specialist | 80/80 | Franchise — Red Rock Group Franchising Pty Ltd, Franchising Code of Conduct, disclosure document, term up to five years |
| Advantage | 90/90 | Independent |
| Prime | 95/95 | Independent |
| Maximiser | 100% upfront / 95% trail | $1,500 per annum compliance fee excluding GST, minimum volume POA |
Across every model: fees quoted excluding GST, a minimum two-year term, a monthly fee per credit representative with one included, non-mortgage commissions at 80% of commission received, and an additional credit representative charged once at 50% of the initial investment rather than monthly.
Getting started from Queensland
Induction is structured, and there is no monthly fee for up to three months during it — the window in which accreditations, systems access and early files come together.
New to broking? The entry qualification is the Certificate IV FNS40821, and mentoring is part of the pathway, required under MFAA and FBAA membership standards and the licensee's supervision obligations rather than by law. Already licensed? You can operate as a credit representative under a Redrock Australian Credit Licence or hold your own; ASIC's Regulatory Guide 206 sets a guidance expectation of around two years of experience before a broker takes on their own licence, not a statutory minimum.
Redrock's minimum required professional indemnity coverage for brokers is a $2,000,000 Limit of Liability and a $6,000,000 maximum aggregate Limit of Liability. Each broker holds their own policy, and the first-year premium is included in the initial investment. Confirm your own policy details with your insurer and your association.
